About Us
Sustainable Renton is a volunteer-driven non-profit committed to building a more equitable and sustainable future while fostering meaningful connections. Our mission is to promote healthy living, raise environmental awareness, and ensure everyone in our community has access to basic needs.
Who We Are
We are a group of people who live and/or work in Renton. We care greatly about building a sustainable community — one that fosters connections between people, protects natural resources, and treads as lightly as possible on the Earth.
What We Do
We currently focus our efforts on issues around food justice and zero waste: Our Food Justice Program, Community Garden, and Educational Workshops all focus on food equity, sustainable practices, and education on how to create a healthier community and planet.

* As Sustainable Renton continues forward, We'd like to extend our gratitude to the founders of this organization. Without these passionate individuals, we would not be here today. In 2012, our founders had a vision of a more equitable and sustainable future for the community around them and began the hard work to make that dream a reality. We are forever grateful for their courage and dedication to a greater future for all of us.
